Things to do near
Whatever your interests, the area around Joma Adventure Lodge offers a wealth of exciting activities and attractions. Immerse yourself in the adventure, natural beauty, and rich culture that await you – we look forward to welcoming you!
Water activities
We have a quite private beach. The water is clean and unrisistable for a swim. There are possibilities for Kayaking or a boatride. More activities will be possible in the future.
Kuti Game reserve
Kuti game reserve is about 30km from the lodge. It has no predators but many different grazers. You can do a guided tour by foot or on a horseride.
Hiking
One of the favorites is the seven summits of Senga bay. But be aware this trip will take about 6 hours and is quite tough.
Mkuyu game reserve
This gamereserve has different landshape on a smaal area, forest, open and swamps. Only 18 km from the Lodge.They have similar animals as kuti but also Ostriches.
Wildlife
Beside the baboons we have Ntchime monkey (or black monkey) only found with us and in Zomba; A various birdlife, and many reptiles.
Crocodile farm
Take a guided walk through the crocodile farm. You get a full explanation of the whole process. You see the very small ones as the big ones from very short distance.
